Leaded bronze alloys have a higher lead content than Rg7. Leaded bronze is a suitable alloy when there is a high demand for "dry running properties" with poor lubrication and the bearing has a low strain level. The high lead content makes for good to excellent dry running properties and the material is softer. The maximum application temperature for leaded bronzes should be lower as the lead‘s mechanical properties change at a rather low temperature (ca. 200ºC). Good sliding and dry running properties, suitable for bearings with higher circumferential velocity and acid resistant.

Standard lengths: ca. 3000 mm, 2000 mm, 1000 mm and 500 mm

Our foundry can produce centrifugally cast tubes up to Ø 1500 mm and 3000 mm long.
