Phosphorbronze
Phosphorbronze (CuSn6 and CuSn8) are characterized by their purity of the alloy with the addition
of phosphor. This results in very high mechanical values and an excellent wear resistance. Phosphorbronzes are only available
in an extruded or rolled form.
Specific characteristics of phosphor bronzes are:
- Very high wear resistance
- Very high loads
- Corrosion and seawater proof
- Good heat conductivity
- Suitable for applications operating at high temperatures
Due to the purity of this material and the absence of elements like lead and zinc, phosphorbronze is suitable for application
in the food processing industry.
Phosphorbronze is available in round bars, squares, rectangles, sheets and tubes.
Standard lengths: approx. 3000 mm, 2000 mm and 1000 mm.
