Characteristics EN-GJL-250 is a pearlitic-ferritic cast iron with a good combination of strength and wear resistance, while still providing good machinability and excellent surface finish. Due to the graphite structure, sound and vibration damping and thermal conductivity are excellent in this quality

Characteristics This is the most common alloy of nodular cast iron, it is supplied in an annealed state and has a predominantly ferritic structure. EN-GJS-400-15 offers superior machinability and surface finish combined with good elongation, electrical conductivity and magnetic permeability. Noise and vibration damping are good in this alloy

Characteristics EN-GJS-500-7 is a material with a predominantly ferritic / pearlitic structure. This grade offers good tensile strength and a sufficiently high yield point in combination with good toughness. Compared to EN-GJS-400-15 (GGG40), this material is more wear resistant. It has excellent machinability and can be used up to approximately 450 °C
