EN-GJS-400-15 offers superior machinability and surface finish combined with good elongation, electrical conductivity and magnetic permeability. Noise and vibration damping are good in this alloy

This grade offers good tensile strength and a sufficiently high yield point in combination with good toughness. Compared to EN-GJS-400-15 (GGG40), this material is more wear resistant. It has excellent machinability and can be used up to approximately 450 °C
