Aufgrund der Graphitstruktur sind Schall- und Schwingungsdämpfung sowie Wärmeleitfähigkeit in dieser Qualität hervorragend.

Merkmale Dies ist die gebräuchlichste Legierung aus Sphäroguss, sie wird in geglühtem Zustand geliefert und hat eine überwiegend ferritische gefüge. EN-GJS-400-15 bietet hervorragende Bearbeitbarkeit und Oberflächenbeschaffenheit bei gleichzeitig guter Dehnung, elektrischer Leitfähigkeit und magnetischer Permeabilität. Geräusch- und Vibrationsdämpfung sind in dieser Legierung gut.

Merkmale EN-GJS-500-7 ist ein Material mit überwiegend ferritisch / perlitischer gefüge. Diese Sorte bietet eine gute Zugfestigkeit und eine ausreichend hohe Streckgrenze in Kombination mit einer guten Zähigkeit. Im Vergleich zu EN-GJS-400-15 (GGG40) ist dieses Material verschleißfester. Es hat eine ausgezeichnete Bearbeitbarkeit und kann bis zu ungefähr 450 ° C verwendet werden.
